Do you offer online therapy sessions?

Yes. Online therapy is available to residents of Texas at a time and date that is convenient for you. Many of my clients come for a session in Flower Mound when they are in town and then continue the course of therapy online. Online therapy is a good choice for you if you are constantly out of town or away at college, have a challenging work schedule, or find it difficult to make it into the office.

Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 20-minute consultation (over the phone), so you can get a sense of whether we are a good match. Please call or fill out the contact form to set up your free consultation.
Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I currently accept Aetna, Optum, United Healthcare, and Friday Health Plan. Additionally, I can provide a superbill if you’re out of network, which may allow you to be reimbursed by your carrier if it’s not one of the ones listed above. I also accept private pay clients.

How long is a therapy session?

A session is approximately 53 minutes. For a free initial consultation, please give me a call, or just fill out the contact form and click send.

How long will therapy take?
The length of therapy will vary depending on the individual and their circumstances. The duration of therapy, and the number of sessions you’ll need will be unique depending on what we determine will help you accomplish your goals depends, your own desire for personal development, your commitment, and the reasons why you’re seeking counseling to begin with.

The benefits you receive from therapy will depend on your needs and goals for therapy. I am here to support, teach you new ways to cope, and help you discover tools that you can apply to tackling anxiety, grief, parenting, relationship troubles, or even creative blocks.

Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes. Cash, credit cards, or checks are all accepted for payment at the time of service.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48hours in advance, you will be required to pay the $117 cancellation fee.

Is it ok to give your therapist a gift?
It depends on the situation. According to the state board, the licensee (your Therapist) must not give or accept a gift from a client or a relative of a client valued at more than $50.00.
