Do you offer online therapy sessions?

Yes. Online therapy is available to residents of Texas and Florida at a time and date that is convenient for you. Many of my clients come for a session in Flower Mound when they are in town and then continue the course of therapy online. Online therapy is a good choice for you if you are constantly out of town or away at college, have a challenging work schedule, or find it difficult to make it into the office.

Do you accept insurance?

We believe in transparency, and we’re happy to discuss our session fees with you during your free consultation.

We do bill insurance companies directly for clients who are covered under plans we are paneled with. We are currently in-network with the following insurance providers:

  • Aetna PPO
  • UnitedHealthcare PPO
  • Optum Health
  • Medicare

If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, we can still provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

If you have questions about your coverage, we’ll be glad to help you understand your options during your consultation.

What can therapy do for me?

Therapy offers a supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions, learn new coping strategies, and build tools that help you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re facing anxiety, grieving a loss, or feeling overwhelmed, therapy can help you gain clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.

You don’t need a mental health diagnosis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek support during difficult life transitions or when they feel stuck—and find that the skills they develop in therapy benefit all areas of their life.

Our practice specializes in treating anxiety, grief, and loss.

Do I really need therapy?
Often, it’s helpful and necessary to have additional support and understanding when it comes to the obstacles you are going through. As a licensed psychotherapist, I can also help you understand how to modify your behaviors and emotions so that you’re not controlled or overwhelmed by them. The benefits are long-lasting and can affect every aspect of your life from your relationships, to your career, to personal development, and even to how well you know yourself.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Your reasons for coming to therapy are unique to you, whether you are going through a big life change or a specific event like grief, or just aren’t dealing with stressful situations ideally. Many people reach out for help with grief, anxiety, relationship issues, or when they feel stuck and just don’t know what to do.

Therapy is a personal decision, but if you take a look at your life, and your desire is to make a change that starts from within, it’s likely that therapy could be a great benefit.
